easter bunny time!

...and this year, I am a basket case. Literally. I wanted to create a basket with a nice shape - tired of the square ones, with hard edges... So here it is - my very own Easter Basket. I have made about 8 so far, all different... here's some:

green_razz1I used the new Rich Razzleberry ribbon and Cottage Wall paper, together with the Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder on Old Olive paper to create this one..

pink_bunnyA total mix of stamp sets, papers, punches and accessories to create this one...

basket_leavesThe new Autumn Traditions DSP, Soft Suede and Two-Step Bird Punch for this one, together with Pocket Silhouette Stamp set, Circle Brads and Pretties Kit on this cutie...

razz_flowerRich Razzleberry and a very cool new feature: a scene of the Cottage Garden Stampset clear mount, on a H block... together with the new DSP and old flower brads and  rhinestones...

bundle1There are a few more, but those I will post when I get the eggs and fill paper so you can see how absolutely cute they look. I love them. Truly !!

I need an elegant Easter Card

There are a couple of ladies who are very elegant and need to get Easter cards from me this year -seeing they are overseas... I heard them talk about how "horrible" most easter cards are nowadays, how they are spoiled by the candy people try to add to them, etc etc...

So I spent some time thinking how I could come up with an elegant card WITH a candy to prove them wrong... Here is my first attempt...

I purchased a bar of swiss chocolate and used a cookie cutter in the round shape to make a "coin" and wrapped it in aluminum foil... Interestingly enough, my son could not tell where the candy was!

I find it kind of fun because you can actually show the card off and even after eating the chocolate, you can glue the bunny back and it will still look like a complete card.
This is the first try anyway... will continue on my quest !
