Well, then. Sick and tired of making cards only ? Okay, so my next Stamp-a-Stack class will feature a box as well !! Take a peek at how gorgeous this looks - and what a great gift it makes as well !
See, I sometimes give my handmade cards as a gifts for ThanksGiving, or simply as a little thing when the opportunity arises - the teachers, for example, love them... they can use them as part of the zillion they need to send out at Christmas, or add to presents - and last day of school is always full of stuff they get and (let's be honest) throw away asap !! So c'mom ladies, let's make some boxes! In one class you have enough time to make at least 2 boxes and 8 cards (plus envelopes). See you then !

how cute is this project? I am super late for an appointment, but thought I'd post this project before running out of the door... will post more details later...

update: okay, so the nity gritty... I saw something similar on the web a couple of months ago, but decided to play a little and modify it - there were some details of the box I saw I did not like but the general idea was interesting...
the Stampin' Up!® Kraft paper is just perfect for this project - and the Holiday Treasures DSP goes together so well with the gold embossing powder and the reindeer from the Winter Post stamp set, and the the Very Vanilla cardstock! Ah it smells like Christmas !! Actually I just a cinammon candle from a friend who makes them with pure soy and natural essences so it DOES smell like Jingle Bells !!!
What's not jinggling with me at the moment is the heat - My brain is used to fluffly snow flakes falling out of the window pane and pine cones burning in the fireplace... NOT a 41C day in blazing sunshine !!??!?
Too hot, too hoooootttt...
after some fiddling and modding, I came up with this box today - which met with total approval from the nearest family members... here's a pic so you can decide.

these are such a great little gift! I have given them to a few people who absolutely love them!! Teachers, friends, and my neighbors - just a cute little token of appreciation ...

coming to think of it, I should have taken pictures of the inside pockets... but they are the same as the other I posted a couple of weeks ago...
