My very own Big Shot Express !!

My deepest apologies, but I've been very very busy - my Big Shot Express arrived - a gift from a friend back home in the USA - and it is a whole lot of FUN!

I have so busy trying and experimenting... now I ha to ask another friend overseas to send me some dies that are impossible to find here. Can't wait !...
Meanwhile, been playing with the embossing possibilites and other dies I've had for a while. I love to not have to crank it - and how FAST it is.  Yay!

Playing with Vellum

I like the transparent effect of vellum but it is hard for me to fit its effect in the stuff I make... it may be fair to say I find it does not really fit my style? Most of the cards I see around that use Vellum are not me at all... but I think I finally worked out a card that I am happy with - it is a romantic type of card, but not tacky. The girls really like it.

I had a little bit of trouble with the Eyelet Border  punch though - am working on sharpening it tonight!

bfly1-smThe butterfly, the ribbon and the rhinestones are on the top. The sparkle of the butterfly adds a nice balance to the transparency effect of the vellum.
