And with Clare, fun is guaranteed!!

For the first challenge, Clare proposed a scary movie and gave us this sketch inspiration:

TheShiningand I came up with this card… this is my first time getting inspiration from something scary for a card (well, not counting Halloween, but it is not scary scary, ya know…) so please don’t be too tough on me !!

cyber_nov06_01smI’ve always wanted to try the broken glass technique and since the most famous scene of the movie involves broken glass, I thought it would be a good excuse… (argh, I will not sleep tonight again! this movie gives me the bejeevees)… blood was in order as well, and this stamp reminds of shattering (I love it, btw…)

So there. Enough excuses !! hee hee

Well, I had time for a challenge today – just barely ! here it is:

and here is my rendition: I fell in love with the Holiday Treasures paper and now can’t have enough of it !!!

makeesha_sketch_15_cards01Hope you like it as much as I do !!! the background versamark snowflakes is hard to snatch in pictures but it looks really pretty from where I am !!!

Well, then. Sick and tired of making cards only ? Okay, so my next Stamp-a-Stack class will feature a box as well !! Take a peek at how gorgeous this looks – and what a great gift it makes as well !

See, I sometimes give my handmade cards as a gifts for ThanksGiving, or simply as a little thing when the opportunity arises – the teachers, for example, love them… they can use them as part of the zillion they need to send out at Christmas, or add to presents – and last day of school is always full of stuff they get and (let’s be honest) throw away asap !! So c’mom ladies, let’s make some boxes! In one class you have enough time to make at least 2 boxes and 8 cards (plus envelopes). See you then !
