I received a few e-mails asking where *the heck* I was...LOL
So here I am.
I have been stamping less than I would like at the moment, but a major production is about to start preparing invitations and other surprise-things for my nephew's christening overseas... I am super excited about this project and have already placed an order with the material I need (even though I must confess I keep changing details every time I look at the sketch...)
The Convention is also only a couple of weeks away and it should be great fun to see some of the people who are out there stamping their hearts out and having a blast with it...
On another note, I am not that enthusiastic about making anything to swap... there's some...hmmm...what's the proper word for it? bitchiness (LOL) from some people that is a total turn off as far as I am concerned.
I mean, sure, I understand that this is business and some people make a living out of it - but this is not about monetary gain, it's about ego-trips. And frankly, life is waaaaaay to short and precious - and above all, canot be rewinded...
My last experience with swaps was such a let down (don't take me wrong, I loved all the swaps, but could not stand some people's attitude) that I decided to stick with making what I enjoy, when I enjoy it, and share it with people who I know are worth my effort. So, I will have 4 or 5 to swap with the wonderful ladies I will be hanging out with at the Convention.
Need to take a picture of the mother's day card to post - don't have it yet for technical reasons, but will shortly.

I feel the same way about swapping this year – am totally over the ego-trip crap too, feeling a bit that way about convention to be honest

Tracey, I live close by, so I am staying at home (not very fun I know!) Staying at Darling Harbour is cool! Maybe I will come visit then! LOL yeah… It’s a little tiring to deal with the big Egos… but I am fortunate to be surrounded by great people as well, so let’s give it one more chance… at the end of the day, what I love is to sit and create – the rest is just a matter of coping (not easy some days)
